Makeup can cover a lot, but the goal is to enhance what is already beautiful! With that being said, we at Donnie Brown Weddings and Events are proud to announce a first!!!! We are blogging about a anti-aging treatment, that Donnie himself is going to have done! We will be blogging his journey and provide you all the information you need to know about potentially having this done for yourself! Donnie is an individual who only refers something if he truly believes in the product, so we are blessed to learn about this treatment directly from him!

Dr. Christine Stiles is Donnie’s personal physician, she will be giving us medical insight on these procedures. 1) “Sculptra is a product that is injected under the skin to stimulate collagen production and give the skin a younger appearance from the inside out! Sculptra is used to add volume to the cheeks, nasolabial folds, chin and jaw line to restore a youthful fullness to the face!”

2) “The Smartskin laser resurfacing removes the dull superficial layers of the skin, lightens dark spots, decreases pore size, reduces wrinkles and gives the skin a younger brighter look, with minimal down time! In days, you will look years younger! For the moms, years of sun damage can be erased from the neck and chest with one laser treatment!”

The Smartskin CO2 treatment restores your skin through laser skin resurfacing! Over the years, signs of aging appear as a result of exposure to the sun ( photo-aging ), and the effect of gravity, and natural aging! The good news is that new advancements in laser technology provide a means of rejuvenation and restore your skin to a more youthful, smoother look!

How does it work? Your doctor will use the Smartskin laser to apply a series of tiny pulses of laser energy to your skin. As these microscopic holes heal, a new, younger looking skin is revealed! Also, collagen is stimulated deep within your skin!

The SmartSkin’s pull structure is specifically designed to optimize thermal coagulative zones, the foundation of and fast healing.

The first phase delivers high peak power for rapid ablation and to minimize erythema.

How many treatments will you need? Your doctor and skin care specialist will determine the best course of treatment and the intensity of the treatment, to address your skin’s needs!

What does the procedure feel like? A topical anesthetic is applied before the procedure. During the procedure, a slight tingling and heat are felt as the laser moves across your face!

What is the recovery time? Because the laser has a distinct ability to deliver micro pulses of energy, you will experience a significantly shorter recover time than with ablative laser treatments. Dr. Stiles uses a platelet gel to accelerate your healing, so that you are back to your regular activities in approximately three days!
