Hi Donnie, Do I need to provide meals for the vendors who are working during my reception – like the photographers, DJ’s, etc?

Hello, Babs! Yes, you should always make sure the professionals who are working throughout your event are fed. You do not have to supply the same meal you are serving your guests, although that is always a nice thing to do for the people who are working so hard to make your event go well. Most facilities can provide “vendor” meals at very reasonable rates. You do not need to worry about the facility staff, just those professionals that you hire to work your event, who must remain there for the duration of the evening. This would include (but is not limited to) your photographer and videographer, your band or DJ, and your wedding coordinator as well as their assistants.
Remember, happy and well-fed employees will usually do a better job!
