Oscar de la Renta Bridal for 2012

No stranger to the iconic fashion platform, Oscar de la Renta has never failed to deliver! I recently had the pleasure of viewing some of his newest additions to the line at his Dallas boutique and wanted to share some of the inspirational 2012 bridal collection.

For the bride with a sweetheart bodice in mind, this silk organza ruched sweetheart bodice gown with piped organza cascading ruffle skirt is your ticket to holy matrimony. It’s a combination of fun and flirty, carefully draped into one.

Make no mistake that you are the modern day bride yet, you still want to infuse a vintage flair to your gown. de la Renta’s chantilly lace and silk faille floral guipure embroided gown is a sure winner.

His Fall 2012 collection is as remarkable as his Spring collection. Every piece was a delicious dose of romance and femininity. I was completely impressed with this crystal embellished waistline gown utilizing one of his increible stoned belts. The tiered effect on the ruffle skirt was cleverly done using shiny satin and silk to give it a look of complete elegance.

Clearly, this gown is not for all mankind. However, you know what I say? If you have it, by ALL means flaunt it! Beach front bride, look no further for you can certainly strut your stuff to one an all in this increible floral cloque silk organza caftan with bullion  macrame embroidered neckline.

I was particularly fond of this ethereal gown with tufts of tiered tuille with the matchstick sequin embroidery on the bodice. LOVE!!!

This too is one of those amazing skirts that just look good on everyone. I love the silk floral petals interwoven onto the tuille puffs.

I find this to be incredibly fashion forward with a striping of silk organza and chiffon bands. For those with smaller waists and busts, the silk spaghetti straps make is more comfortable to wear.

I think this might be my favorite. It is just lucious and whimsical, isn’t it? It is a ruched silk chiffon sweetheart bodice with a ballgown skirt of organza petals.

I don’t know about you, but if you are out looking for a gown, you are doing yourself a disservice if you don’t stop by Oscar De La Renta and take a look at their beautiful options before making a decision. You might be surprised at how affordable they are too. You don’t have to be in the top 1% to afford Oscar. Oscar is priced for the masses these days. Of course, only if you want to wear fine fabrics on your wedding day. If polyester is your preference, you might try somewhere else! 🙂

Have fun and tell them Donnie sent you!
