Apart from the daunting, countless allergies that come with the season, there is an undeniable beauty that’s wrapped around spring. Nature alone speaks to us, and from it, we draw inspiration for all things new. As fall fades away and introduces us to spring, excitement accelerates within me simply because, springtime injects another dose of creativity, a deeper yearning for new concepts and an appreciation for bold colors. Away with you grey days, color is upon us. Every Monday, my floral team does a fantastic job of executing arrangements for our office and clients, and, believe me when I say, color is always on the menu. From where does one get inspiration? Anywhere and everywhere. It’s as simple as that. If you hunger for more than just what meets the eye, as it relates to creating something new, I challenge you to take advantage of all that’s in front of you and ask yourself- what more can I produce out of this piece of art or even, appetizer? Visit your local museum, arboretum, favorite bakery or even junkyard, yes I said it! JUNKYARD. Before I wave goodbye to fall, I wanted to leave you with this masterpiece of an arrangement my fabulous floral team recently designed for me to utilize on Good Morning Texas on which I do a regular entertaining segment. Take the time to soak in the newness and look beyond what you see. Happy Spring to you all; and to all a mild summer!
