Dear Donnie…

Avoid Razor Burn

Dear Donnie,
I’m getting married next month and I have been having a tough time with razor burn when I shave. I want to look my best for photos and really need to find a solution. Any thoughts? I would really appreciate your advice.
Signed,

Desperate Dan

Dear Dan:

I have the perfect solution. When you shave, you are removing the most brittle hair on your head. It literally breaks when the razor slides across. The rash you are getting is due to the hair breaking and retracting to the skin’s surface and often beneath.  Try shaving with hair conditioner rather than shaving cream. Think about it. Hair conditioner is developed to soften hair. It will also make it much easier to shave from now on. After you shave, rinse the area thoroughly with warm water and moisturize with Oil of Olay Regenerist. I realize it is marketed to women, but I assure you, it will be a great way to help make your complexion perfect for your wedding day. I think you will find a complete reversal and a clear neckline after a couple of weeks.

I hope you have a wonderful wedding and amazing photos. Let me know how everything works out!

Best wishes,

Donnie
