Donnie,
I am only a week or so away from my wedding day and I am running around franticly thinking of last minutes things to do and add. There are about 100 guests coming. This is my second time, and the last time I am going to get married! So I want everything just perfect. I have a large cake for the wedding, but do I need to have other desserts or a coffee bar? When do you say when? Help me stop changing, spending and altering!Your biggest fan,

This is the biggest reason to hire a wedding planner, isn’t it? A novice or individual bride can find the sheer number of options a bit daunting. The answer to your question about making a decision regarding dessert is this: You don’t have to keep feeding your guests more and more dessert. Would you have more than just cake and coffee at home with guests? If so, then do it. If not, then don’t! There is no need to continue spending money just because a catering manager is attempting to beef up their commission check. I think a coffee bar is a nice addition to cake, but more desserts is a bit redundant. Good luck and be sure to visit your dentist for a cleaning after you return from your honeymoon. Sounds like your going to need it! 🙂
Regards,
Donnie
